Support to L V Prasad Eye Institute
Prateek Menezes Memorial Foundation (PMMF) has supported L V Prasad Eye Institute in their endeavors for life and vision saving surgeries of Retinoblastoma (eye cancer). So far, LV Prasad Eye Institute has performed a total of 331 such surgeries in children from economically underprivileged backgrounds at Base Rates, with ages ranging from 9 months to 13 years, undertaken between November 2022 and November 2024, providing much needed support for these patients who rightfully desire to have the best sight and life with dignity.
PMMF has also collaborated with Hyderabad Eye Research Foundation (Operation Society of L V Prasad Eye Institute) by financially supporting them in their efforts to publish the research articles written by the doctors/researchers on Ocular Oncology, in globally reputed and peer reviewed Ophthalmology Journals such as ‘The International Journal on Orbital Disorders, Oculoplastic and Lacrimal Surgery’, ‘Seminars on Ophthalmology’, ‘Clinical & Experimental Ophthalmology’, ‘American Journal of Ophthalmology Case Reports’
(Companion title to American Journal of Ophthalmology), ‘Retina- The Journal of Retinal andVitreous Diseases, besides other Ophthalmology Journals’ by paying an open access publication fee to the Journal Publishers.
